Challenging Islamophobia through Applied Research, Civic Engagement, Education, and Global Classrooms to impact policy.
The ISC is helping develop the Summer Islamophobia Studies Institute; this will aid to build the academic field and expand the range of research projects undertaken. Currently we offer summer study programs in Jordan, France, & Turkey. Currently we offer summer study programs in Jordan, France, & Turkey. Our unique programs coupled with on the ground experience, visits, and contacts will revitalize your passion for a social justice based learning, inspire your endeavors back at home, expose you to new ideas, fields and possibilities and teach you new things about yourself and the world that we all inhabit. These classes are on the crusades, the European immigration crisis, and a Palestine de-colonial course. We hope to add more courses in the future moving forward.

Ramon Grosfoguel is Associate Professor of Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and coeditor of "The Modern/Colonial/Capitalist World-System in the Twentieth Century "(2002), "Migration, Transnationalization, and Race in a Changing New York "(2001), and "Puerto Rican Jam: Rethinking Colonialism and Nationalism "(1997). He is a research associate of the Maison des Science de l'Homme in Paris and the Fernand Braudel Center in New York.
